Watch me create Seth’s Turning Fork from the anime Trinity Blood! I started by designing the basic shapes in a 3D modeling program called Rhino 6. After breaking down each part for printing and adding holes for the bone structures, I moved my designs to Nomad Sculpt to refine and detail them.
Next, I tested my new Prusa XL printer to print each part using PETG and water-soluble PVA filament. After printing, I removed the support structures and cleaned up the pieces. For any holes, I used a 3D printing pen and finished everything with sanding buffs. Finally, I assembled the fork using carbon fiber tubes and two-part epoxy.
